Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 21 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-21
RACE AI is operated by its founder, Rishwi Thimmaraju, from Hyderabad, India. Our company is being incorporated; these pages will name it once it is registered, and these terms will move to it. These are the rules everyone agrees to when they create a RACE AI account. Breaking them can lead to removed content, limits, suspension or closing the account, as set out in our Terms of Service.
1. Research integrity
- Do not fabricate or falsify data, results, images or citations, or present AI output as experimental results or as sources you have not checked.
- Disclose AI assistance where your institution, funder, journal or conference requires it. RACE is a tool, not an author.
- Do not use RACE to plagiarise, to write assessed work you are not allowed to submit with AI help, or to sit exams for others.
- Do not use RACE to write fake peer reviews, fake grant reports or paper-mill manuscripts.
- Get the ethics approvals your research needs; RACE does not replace an ethics committee.
2. Data about other people
- Upload personal data about research participants, patients, students or others only if you have the right to, and remove names and identifiers that are not needed.
- Do not upload health records, genetic data, children's data, government ID numbers or financial account numbers unless they are fully anonymised.
- Do not use RACE to profile, track, identify or locate private individuals, or to infer sensitive traits about them.
3. Illegal and harmful use
Do not use RACE to:
- break any law that applies to you or to RACE, including Indian law;
- seek or produce instructions that meaningfully help create biological, chemical, nuclear or radiological weapons or explosives, or attack critical infrastructure;
- create malware, exploit systems you do not own, or run phishing or scams;
- harass, threaten, defame or impersonate anyone, or produce any sexual content involving minors;
- promote violence, terrorism or hatred against people for who they are;
- infringe copyright, trademarks or trade secrets, or share papers whose licence does not allow it.
The usage policies of our AI providers also apply to what you ask RACE.
4. RACE's systems
- Do not probe, scan or test RACE's security without our written permission. If you find a vulnerability, email support@raceai.tech; we will not take action against good-faith reports that avoid harm to people and data.
- Do not use the code sandbox for crypto-mining, attacks, spam, proxies or anything unrelated to your research.
- Do not try to get around credits, rate limits, trials or plan limits, create accounts in bulk, or automate sign-ups.
- Do not scrape, resell or white-label RACE, or use it to build a competing dataset or model, without our written permission.
- Do not try to reach other people's data, system prompts or credentials, including through instructions hidden in uploaded files.
5. Accounts
One person per account, no shared sign-ins, and you must be 18 or older.
6. Reporting misuse
Report misuse, harmful output or infringing content to support@raceai.tech. We review reports, may remove content or restrict accounts, and tell the person affected unless the law or safety prevents it. You can appeal to the Grievance Officer named below.
